(Norman) - Oklahoma senior Mariana Goncalves (marr-e-AHNA' gone-SOL'-vez) has been named the Big 12 Conference Gymnast of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Goncalves won the all-around title as the Sooners defeated Southern Utah and Texas Woman's in a meet Saturday.

O-U is currently ranked third in the nation, the highest ranking ever for the Sooners.

Oklahoma returns to action Friday in a meet at the University of Georgia, the second-ranked team in the nation.
