TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Mike McIntyre came off the bench to score a game-high 22 points as Hawaii beat Tulsa 90-82 Saturday night.

The Rainbow Warriors (17-3, 8-1 Western Athletic) took control of the conference race with the win. The Golden Hurricane (15-4, 6-2) is now a game and a half behind Hawaii.

McIntyre, a starter a year ago, hit a career-high six 3-pointers, including 4-of-5 in the second half. He has scored 43 points in his last two games.

Hawaii trailed by 13 in the first half, but closed the gap with a 7-1 run to pull within 41-34 at halftime. The Warriors opened the second half with an 8-2 surge to pull within 43-42.

Tulsa maintained a slim lead until McIntyre hit a 3 to gave Hawaii its first lead at 59-57 with 9:53 to play. He buried another 3-pointer on the next possession to make it 62-57 and Hawaii never trailed again.

Predrag Savovic added 20 points for Hawaii and Phil Martin had 16.

Kevin Johnson scored 17 points to lead Tulsa, which allowed the most points since the Reynolds Center opened in 1999.

Charlie Davis added 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Hawaii outrebounded Tulsa 40-32.
