BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma Wesleyan University's longtime president is resigning, saying it's time for new leadership.
``Everything is fine and all is well,'' Paul Mills said Thursday. ``I've lasted 19 years when most college presidents stay on the job seven.''
He said his decision to resign was a ``mutual agreement between myself and the Wesleyan trustees.''
An interim president will probably be chosen Wednesday, he said.
The former Bartlesville Wesleyan College has an enrollment of 800 students, primarily in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and McAlester. It offers more than 40 majors and minors.
