Tulsa remembers a civil rights leader. Tulsa and the nation gathered Monday to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr.

The parade to honor him wound its way around the Greenwood District Monday, ending near downtown Tulsa. Hundreds honored King in the parade, which featured bands, floats, and local celebrities.

Eight marching bands and 44 floats participated in this year's parade.
