TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Tulsa County prosecutors have charged a man with first-degree murder in the death of an infant.

Roger Turrle Stephenson, 22, was charged Friday on allegations that he injured 8-month-old Drevion Stephenson, who later died.

Stephenson ``shook the victim'' on March 20 at a residence, court records show. The child was hospitalized and died Aug. 7 from a blunt head injury, Sgt. Wayne Allen said.

The infant was the youngest homicide victim in Tulsa last year.

Tulsa Jail officials said Stephenson was jailed in June on complaints of not paying court costs, which stemmed from a 1999 possession of marijuana misdemeanor.
