An 11-car pile up caused a huge traffic jam during the Wednesday morning rush hour. It happened on Highway 169 near I-44 just before 7 AM.
Tulsa Police say the driver of a car started braking and that caused a chain reaction. Driver involved in accident, Steve Kennedy, "I just barely bumped it then all the sudden behind me several cars started banging into behind us and before you knew it there was 11 cars sitting here."
Tulsa Police officer Paul Downe, "It bottle necks a little bit and mostly people that drive it are aware of that and just once in a while you get something it's a chain reaction type accident."
No one was injured. It took about an hour for traffic to get back to normal.
