TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Former Arkansas assistant Bill Keopple has been named defensive line coach at Tulsa, head coach Keith Burns said Thursday.

Keopple, 43, coached the defensive line at Arkansas in 1999-2000, when Burns was defensive coordinator there. Keopple had been in private business the past two years.

A Little Rock, Ark., native, Keopple spent the 1997 season as the defensive line coach at Boise State under Houston Nutt, now Arkansas' head coach. He also coached at Central Arkansas for 14 seasons.
