(Norman-AP) -- The University of Oklahoma athletic department says the gymnastics season home-opener will be a salute to America's heroes.

Local police, fire and military personnel and their families are being invited to the meet.

The meet will be January 20th at the Lloyd Noble Center starting at 2 in the afternoon. The top-ranked Sooners men's team will compete against number seven Iowa and 17th-ranked Air Force.

The 13th-ranked Sooners women's team will take on 18th-ranked Ohio State.
