An Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputy is taking part in keeping the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City safer.
Michael Quick says only the best law enforcement officers are allowed to work as Olympic security guards, and he says he's up for the challenge. "I'm sure it's gonna be a little bit colder up there and I'll probably see quite a bit more snow up there. I've been walking everyday, trying to get my strength up."
Deputy Quick underwent an intense screening process and was chosen out of thousands of applicants. The Winter Olympics begin on February 8th.
