A standoff early Wednesday, this one following a car chase. Tulsa Police say they had a suspect stopped on a routine traffic violation.

Officers wrote the tickets but the man refused them and then took off. Tulsa Police Captain Larry Kinney, "officers get into pursuit, the driver turned off his lights, the officers continued pursuing the vehicle to a residence at 1333 North Boston where the individual pulled into the driveway."

The suspect sat in his car for about fifteen minutes before giving up. He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail, charges are pending.
