Tulsa Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Friday morning.

Someone found the body of a man lying between two houses near 41st and south 125th East Avenue. Police say a blood trail indicates the man had been shot somewhere else and later collapsed. Investigators don't have any suspects and aren't sure if anyone else was hurt.

Police believe the victim may have been involved in some kind of gun battle. Tulsa Police officer Andy Phillips, "Strangely enough, nobody saw anything. But we have several reports last night of shots fired, loud noises, thumps, those types of things between the hours of midnight and 5 this morning."

Police say they have several leads. The victim's name hasn't been released.
