STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Clyde Coulter ran for 154 yards and a touchdown, and Millwood's defense came up with two second-half touchdowns as the Falcons beat Cascia Hall 31-7 in the Class 2A championship game Saturday night.
It was the second straight title for the Falcons (13-2), who have won 24 straight against 2A opponents. Millwood's closest game against a 2A opponent this season was a 28-6 victory over Eufaula last week in the semifinals.
Millwood ran for 282 yards against Cascia Hall, which finished 14-1.
The Falcons scored on their first two possessions and led 19-0 by halftime. Cascia Hall cut the margin to 19-7 with a touchdown in the third quarter and then forced Millwood to punt.
But on Cascia's second play of the possession, Cory Muse caused a fumble that teammate Justin Sims picked up at the 2-yard line and ran in for a touchdown and a 25-7 lead.
Millwood's defense also scored in the fourth quarter when Keir Chappell intercepted a tipped pass and returned it 13 yards for a touchdown and a 31-7 lead.
