A special highway dedication honored an Oklahoman killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Navy serviceman Albert Lewis Ward was serving aboard the USS Arizona when he was killed. Friday, a new road was named in honor of Ward and all those killed in World War II.

The ‘Albert Lewis Ward’ road lies between Hickory Hill road and Hilton road on the Creek Turnpike.
