The Governor's panel on terrorism met in Tulsa Tuesday to review Oklahoma's ability to respond to a terrorist attack.
Political leaders have asked the group to draft recommendations for battling terrorism in the Sooner state.
The panel will present their ideas to the legislature to consider when it convenes in 2002. Oklahoma Public Safety commissioner Bob Ricks, "Terrorism will never be over. We have an enemy who has declared war on the United States. There are elements that are scattered everywhere and we need to be on heightened alert."
The panel was created in the wake of the September 11th attacks.
