OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ State Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher wants another term.

Fisher, a Democrat, announced Friday that he will seek re-election in 2002.

Fisher was first elected state insurance commissioner in 1998. He ran in 1994, but lost to John Crawford, whom he then defeated four years later.

``As I have said all over the state, I love my job,'' Fisher said. ``I enjoy working with my industry on behalf of Oklahomans.''

Fisher was an insurance agent for 35 years and owned Carroll Fisher Insurance in Tulsa.

He graduated from John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City and has a business degree from Oklahoma State University.
