As America fights back, many employers are digging deeper to find out more about potential employees. Indepth Profiles is a background-checking agency.

President Ann Canode says in the past few weeks their business has increased by 30%. She claims many employers are looking deeper into their new hires to keep from hiring dangerous people, or even terrorists. â€œOne of the first questions that keeps coming up that we never had before September 11th is what about terrorism is there anyway you can check for terrorism. Well the answer is no.â€

Canode says there's no way to check immigration records other than with the INS as well. Most background checking agencies will however do a thorough criminal check for their clients
