The world's largest operating steam locomotive made its way through the Sooner State Wednesday.

Union Pacific Railroad's Challenger number 3985 is on a six state 3,100-mile tour through the Midwest. The locomotive is 122 feet long and weighs more than one million pounds.

The locomotive traveled from McAlester to Coffeyville, Kansas on Wednesday. That route took it through Wagoner, Inola, Claremore, and Oologah.
