Two separate car crashes in Tulsa County leave three people dead Thursday.

The first accident was a head on collision near 171st and Mingo killing the drivers of both vehicles. Both drivers were believed to be in their 70's. The names of the victims have not been released.

Another car wreck just north of Tulsa, Thursday morning, left one person dead. A woman was killed when she failed to yield to traffic at a dangerous intersection.

The driver of the struck car was taken to a Tulsa hospital with head injuries and is listed in fair condition. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the intersection at 86th street north and Highway 11 is known for being dangerous and drivers should be cautious in that area.
