Tulsa freshman quarterback Tyler Gooch is in the same position he was in a week ago.

Gooch re-aggravated an ankle injury during Saturday's loss to Boise State, leaving junior Josh Blankenship as the probable starter for this week's game.

Blankenship took the majority of the snaps during practice last week after Gooch first injured the ankle during the New Mexico State game. The ankle was reinjured with just more than six minutes left in the first half against Boise State.

Tulsa hosts Hawaii on Saturday.
