The Tulsa Oilers shut out the Oklahoma City Blazers in Central Hockey League exhibition play behind former Blazer goalie Rod Branch and winger Pat Hallet.
Branch combined with Oiler goalie Rob Murdoch to stop 36 Blazer shots and Hallett scored two goals in Tulsa's 5-to-nothing win last night at the Oilers Ice Center.
Branch helped Oklahoma City to the C-H-L championship last season before being traded to Tulsa this summer.
Tulsa and Oklahoma City play again tonight at the Blazers Ice Centre in Oklahoma City.
