The nose gear of an American Airlines jet collapsed Wednesday morning at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. American flight 535 left from Tulsa International and was on approach to DFW when the instruments indicated a landing gear problem.

The plane landed safely, but when the tow pole was attached to the nose gear, it collapsed. The 69 passengers deplaned safely.

No one was injured.
