OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Gov. Frank Keating accepted a $238,912 check on Tuesday on behalf of a fund designated to help victims of terrorist attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania

The money comes from the sale of ``United We Stand'' pins as part of a fund-raising effort by the Claremore-based RCB Bank, Inola Casting Inc. and the Oklahoma Bankers Association.

``This is another example of the compassion and generosity for which Oklahomans are so rightly noted,'' Keating said.

More than 600,000 pins have been sold and the goal is to sell one million b Thanksgiving.

In 1995, Inola Casting Works designed and sold ``Healing the Heartland'' pins, raising $141,000 for an education fund for children affected by the Oklahoma City federal building bombing.

The $238,912 check is being forwarded to the ``September 11 Fund'' administered by the United Way.
