OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The wreckage of an aircraft that crashed in Colorado on Jan. 27, killing 10 men associated with the Oklahoma State University basketball program, will not be moved so it can be inspected for a probable lawsuit, the father of one of the victims said Thursday.

Zane Fleming, the father of OSU basketball player Nate Fleming, was prepared to go to court against the plane's owner and insurance company to prevent the wreckage from being removed from its present location, an aircraft hanger.

But Zane Fleming said there was no need to request an injunction after the aircraft's owner, North Bay Charter, and insurer agreed not to move the wreckage.

``All we've ever wanted to do was find out what happened and why it happened and make sure it doesn't happen again,'' he said.

Nate Fleming was one of 10 men killed when their aircraft crashed in a field near Strasburg, Colo., 20 minutes after taking off from Boulder. Victims included another basketball player, members of the OSU athletic department and broadcast crew, the pilot and co-pilot.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash but has not determined a cause.

The family of Daniel Lawson, the other player killed in the crash, filed a tort claim in June against OSU. A tort claim is the first step in filing a lawsuit.
