Several Green Country students offered their well wishes to all Americans Wednesday. And they did it with balloons.

Skiatook 5th and 6th graders released helium filled balloons with special messages attached. It was part of a special assignment called "Balloon Launch of America." Each message was hand written by a student. "My name is Kayla from Skiatook schools in Oklahoma. I just wanted to help America have a happy day so I sent this to you.â€

School principal Susan Pogue, "They wrote their messages, hope to reach others, treat each other with respect."
