The flags are flying again on Skiatook's Main Street. The flags were taken down after the September 11th terrorist attack in New York and Washington because city officials says there was no way to the fly the flags at half staff. So out of respect, officials took them down all together.

Since the period of mourning has ended, the flags have since been put back up.
