(New York-AP) -- The New York Stock Exchange began testing its trading systems this morning, to see if the stock market can reopen on Monday as planned.
The N-Y-S-E, Nasdaq Stock Market and American Stock Exchange have been closed since the terror attacks on Tuesday.
A spokesman says all they're testing is connectivity between the exchange and various member firms and members off the exchange.
They want to make sure phone lines and data lines are working properly.
The N-Y-S-E is located about five blocks from the World Trade Center site.
