The copies will be sold at area convenience stores, Tulsa Community World locations and at the downtown Tulsa World office, 315 S. Boulder Ave. The Tulsa Community World locations are the East/Midtown office at 12767 E. 41st St., the South office at 6514 E. 51st St., the West office at 4749 S. The cost for a mailed copy is $3.50 to be charged on a credit card. The Tulsa world had published 50,000 copies of the edition on Tuesday, which marked the first time since World war II that an extra edition was produced by the newspaper. The editions sold out at various locations by noon Wednesday, said John Bair, director of circulation. Bair said 4,000 copies will be sold in convenience stores outside the Tulsa metropolitan area, about 2,000 copies will be available at the Community World locations, about 2,000 editions will be at the downtown office and the remaining 18,000 copies wil be located in convenience stores throughout Tulsa. The majority of the copies will be located in Tulsa QuikTrip and Git-n-Go stores, Bair said. The editions will be available by 6 a.m. Thursday morning.
