Today is election day in several local communities. In Jenks, the issues include bond elections for street improvements, a sanitary sewer system, and a new fire station.

Bartlesville is also asking for more to build new fire stations. In addition, voters there will decide on a proposed new sanitary sewer system and a geographic information system. There are also a number of school bond issues on area ballots as well.

Polls are open until 7 PM.
