(Arlington, Texas-AP) -- The Texas Rangers have recalled right-handed pitcher Justin Duchscherer from the Oklahoma Redhawks.

Duchscherer is one of four players promoted from the Redhawks of the Pacific Coast League. The promotions announced yesterday came with the expansion of the major league rosters.

Duchscherer won his only start in the majors for the Rangers in July. He had a 13-and-6 record in 25 minor league starts this year. He was promoted to Texas for a spot start on July 25th and pitched a 6-to-5 victory over Baltimore.

The Rangers also recalled Redhawks first baseman Carlos Pena and outfielder Craig Monroe. Texas also purchased the contract of outfielder Chris Magruder from the Redhawks.
