Professional golf returned to Tulsa this week. This is the first professional ladies' golf event to come to Tulsa since 1983's US Women's Open.
Tournament officials say the course is in great shape, and the players are ready to play. Concerning parking, fans attending the Williams Championship will take shuttles to the Tulsa Country Club. The only parking area is at the Tulsa Air Park on 36th St North, near the L.L. Tisdale Parkway. Shuttles will run continuously from 7 AM until one hour after the completion of play each day.
Here's a rundown of some of this week's LPGA activities. The Williams Championship Pro-Am tournament continues on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, the tournament begins with round one of the LPGA. The second round takes place Saturday. And the final round is on Sunday.
