There's a new place to play in Tulsa. One that's jam-packed with state of the art equipment, including a trolley, imagine panel, and clatter bridge. The News on Six was on hand for Tuesday's dedication.
KOTV and Oktoberfest joined River Parks in raising money to build the park. It has many brand new elements to compliment its new design according to River Parks Authority director Jackie Bubenik, "It's designed for individuals in wheelchairs. They can roll out there with special padding and such. And we have special toys that they can use, so it's for all segments of the population."
The new park, at 41st and Riverside, is replacing an older one that the River Parks Authority said was beyond repair.
