MAN accused of vandalizing a local golf course pleads guilty

The man accused of vandalizing Tulsa's Southern Hills Country Club pleaded guilty Tuesday. <br><br>Richard Jones admitted he poured acid on the greens, forcing Southern Hills to re-seed 27-holes.

The man accused of vandalizing Tulsa's Southern Hills Country Club pleaded guilty Tuesday.

Richard Jones admitted he poured acid on the greens, forcing Southern Hills to re-seed 27-holes. In an agreement with prosecutors, Jones got a 5 year deferred sentence, must do 40 hours of community service and stay out of Tulsa County for the next 5 years.

Jones was arrested in Arkansas in June.
