(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma center Jabahri Brown is playing well for the US Virgin Islands team at the World University Games in China.

Brown, a native of Saint Thomas, has helped guide his team to consecutive wins. He posted 11 points and ten rebounds in a win against Angola. He had four points, ten boards and three blocks in a win against Bulgaria.

In the 1999-and-2000 season Brown played for Florida International, where he averaged 8-point-6 points, 6-point-3 rebounds and 2-point-3 blocked shots as a freshman.

He won't be eligible to compete for the Sooners until the conclusion of the fall semester.
