It's been almost seven months since ten members of the OSU basketball family were killed in a plane crash in Colorado and while the healing process has begun OSU officials hope a memorial being dedicated this weekend will help.
The wreath will be laid at the crash site. Florist Terry Wheeler created it. Wheeler says the OSU family came to him with a pair of horseshoes, from the OSU spirit horse and asked him to design a wreath with a touch of student life. "This is special, never done one like this before especially with everything coming natural like this. This is special and this is one I'll long remember."
Wheeler also used flowers and greenery from the OSU campus. OSU President James Halligan will lay the wreath at the dedication of the memorial Saturday.
