Thousands of Green Country students are preparing to go back to school and KOTV and Restore Hope ministries are helping them get ready.

About 2,000 students are expected to benefit from Project Spirit supplies this year. Thursday, KOTV staff and others spent the day handing out the supplies to the needy students and their families.

The care packages include notebooks, folders, paper and pencils to help get the kids off to a good start.
