(Fayetteville-AP) -- Arkansas coach Houston Nutt says defensive back Lawrence Richardson will suit up for practice Thursday along with his teammates. Nutt says Richardson has fulfilled court obligations from his recent shoplifting conviction. Richardson was the Razorbacks' top cornerback this spring, but he won't start practice at the number one spot.
Nut says new recruits are vying for the spot and that Richardson is likely behind in his condition. Richardson pleaded guilty to the shoplifting charge in Fayetteville last month. He and former teammate, Lee Hayes, were sentenced to 60 hours of work as part of their sentences. They also were ordered to serve ten months unsupervised probation and pay 150-dollars in court costs.
