Kevin Mench added a two-run double in the fifth and Luis Taveras's sacrifice fly in the sixth put the Drillers up 6-1.
Piniella's two-run homer raised the score to 8-1 and Hafner added a run-scoring double in the eighth inning.
Pratt (7-8) struck out six in nine innings of play for the Drillers.
Jeff Hundley (2-6) suffered the loss.
