An overnight shooting leaves one man critically injured, and Tulsa Police looking for clues. The shooting happened around nine o'clock Tuesday night in the 3700 block of West 57th Place.
Police say neighbors heard what they initially thought was a firecracker. But they soon found out it wasn't. Tulsa Police Captain Mark McCrory: "Witnesses said they heard a gunshot and found the man shot in the street. Officers arrived and found 1 victim, I believe a 38-year-old black male shot in the head, laying in the middle of the road."
The victim was taken to a Tulsa hospital with life-threatening injuries. His name hasn't been released. Officers aren't sure if the man lived in the area although neighbors were familiar with him. No one has been arrested.
