(Milwaukee-AP) -- Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig and his wife Suzanne have established scholarships at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Rothberg International School.
The university will present Selig with the Sports Torch of Learning Award tonight at a fund-raiser at Miller Park. Comedian Billy Crystal is also scheduled to be at the ceremony.
The award recognizes sports figures who have influenced higher education in the United States and Israel. It's also a memorial to the eleven Israeli athletes who were slain at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
Past recipients include Bruce Jenner, Howard Cosell and Bowie Kuhn.
The scholarships will provide assistance to American students who go to the Rothberg International School.
