TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Jamie Gann's two-run double stopped Tulsa's late rally and lifted El Paso to a 4-2 Texas League victory over the Drillers Monday night.
Gann finished with three RBIs, including a first-inning homer that put the Diablos up 1-0 in the first inning.
El Paso went ahead 2-0 in the seventh on Juan Sosa's RBI-single, but a ground out by Danny Solano and a run-scoring single by Juan Piniella tied the score later in the inning.
Mike Gray (1-1) earned the victory for the Diablos, allowing two hits in one inning of relief. Dan Carlson picked up his first save.
Travis Hughes (3-6) suffered the loss for Oklahoma, allowing two hits and two runs in 2 1/3 innings.
