(New York-AP) -- Basketball player Stephon Marbury was pulled over in his Ferrari last night and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Police said Marbury was driving on East 150th Street in the Bronx just before midnight when officers noticed that his 2001 Ferrari did not have a registration sticker.

They found that 24-year-old Marbury was driving a suspended license. He was ticketed and will appear in court at a later date.

Marbury is a point guard who grew up in Brooklyn and most recently played for the New Jersey Nets.

He was traded to the Phoenix Suns last week.
