A joyride on a Tulsa Public School bus ended with three people behind bars early Thursday morning.
Bus number 438 may have been taken from the Tulsa School bus barn around midnight. A school district security guard managed to spot the bus and called authorities for help. A 15-year-old boy was behind the wheel at the time.
Tulsa County Sheriff's office Sgt. Mark Stevens: "It's been missing for about two hours, it was seen a couple of hours ago traveling around town by a citizen and uh we'd been trying to find it ever since." The teen and two adults were booked into the Tulsa County Jail. Stevens says they found a pipe and marijuana on the teenager. Charges are pending.
Authorities say the two adults had indicated they already faced charges in court for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
