A REWARD is being offered in dog burning case

Since KOTV first told you about a dog that someone set on fire Monday, donations have been rolling in for a reward fund. And, now, two people have called in, fearing the dog belonged to them.

Animal Aid says two women called from the area where the dog was found. They both said their dog matched the description and had been missing since Sunday morning. Investigators believe once a positive identification is made, it could help point to the culprit. Susan Warren with Animal Aid: "That person can probably lead us to the person who did this. They might know if anyone has a grudge against them and would take it out on their pet, that's what we think is maybe going on."

Animal Aid has had so many donations for a reward fund, they had to bring in an extra person just to answer the phones, and the fund is up to $3,000 so far. And, Companions Forever has donated cremation services.
