Tulsa's public transit system is expanding. The Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority cut the ribbon on a brand new bus station Tuesday morning just south of 31st and Memorial. Mayor Susan Savage was on hand for the dedication. Until now, Tulsa had just one transfer station in the heart of downtown. Thanks to the new station, there will be new bus routes and more direct service to many destinations since the routes won't all have to go through downtown. The Memorial Midtown Transfer Station opens to the public next Monday.
