STILWELL, Okla. (AP) _ Adair County prosecutors have filed first-degree murder charges against a man in the killings of two Westville brothers.

Miles Crittenden was charged Wednesday with killing Jamie Dale White, 27, and Jason Dewayne White, 23, on March 14. Jamie White's 9-month-old child was asleep in the bedroom next to where the shootings occurred, officials said.

Crittenden, 30, has been in the custody of the sheriff's office since April, when he was arrested on a parole violation.

Assistant District Attorney Faye Teague said Crittenden had just been released from an Oklahoma prison in December and was on parole for kidnapping, shooting with intent to kill and feloniously carrying a firearm.

Crittenden is being held without bail pending his arraignment Friday.
