Attention doughnut lovers... the waiting is over.. Krispy Kreme has officially set up shop in The Sooner state.

The state's first store opened at 5:30 am - (sorry, Green Country) in Oklahoma City.

Dozens of people lined up to sink their teeth into the original taste treat. Fans say there is no substitute.

Krispy Kreme Fan: " When you bite into a Krispy Kreme doughnut, you are at one with the universe. There is peace in the middle east, cats & dogs living together and you are just at one with the universe."

Jordan Parks from Shawnee is so crazy for Krispy Kremes doughnuts that he took off work... brought a lawn chair and spent the night outside.

His perserverence paid off. He was the first one in the store when the sign was turned on.

A store co-owner says he expects to sell 100,000 doughnuts today alone.

If your mouth is watering for an original glazed, you'd better head to Oklahoma City. A store in the Tulsa area isn't expected to open until next year.
