The track is laid and race fans are ready for the 17th annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.

The event kicks off Wednesday, January 8th at the fairgrounds IPE building. 2002 Winston Cup champion Tony Stewart will join nine other drivers in the first race of Champions, all to raise money for local charities.
