Tulsa County Sheriff’s deputies want you to know they're watching. Deputies and reserve deputies are doing extra patrols to watch for people who've partied too much.
They're also pulling over people for a variety of traffic offenses, some things they might normally overlook. It’s an effort to make sure people follow the rules, especially when it comes to drinking and driving.
Deputy John Bryant, "just during this general period, people want to have a good time, but they don't stay home. They want to go out and that's not a good idea."
The deputies will also increase patrols around businesses and neighborhoods.
