Tulsa County Sheriffâ€™s deputies want you to know they're watching. Deputies and reserve deputies are doing extra patrols to watch for people who've partied too much.

They're also pulling over people for a variety of traffic offenses, some things they might normally overlook. Itâ€™s an effort to make sure people follow the rules, especially when it comes to drinking and driving.

Deputy John Bryant, "just during this general period, people want to have a good time, but they don't stay home. They want to go out and that's not a good idea."

The deputies will also increase patrols around businesses and neighborhoods.
