The price you pay for electricity is going up. Higher natural gas prices are being blamed.

PSO says all 500,000 customers will see an immediate increase in the fuel portion of their monthly bill. A residential customer who uses 1,000 kilowatt-hours a month can expect an increase of about $4.30 a month.

PSO says the costs will be reviewed in three months to see if they need to be raised, lowered or stay the same.
