STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Victor Williams scored all 17 of his points in the second half and Ivan McFarlin had 16 points and 10 rebounds as Oklahoma State beat Fresno State 71-61 Sunday afternoon.
Fresno State shot a season-low 31 percent from the field in its first loss of the season.
The Cowboys (6-1) got 11 points each from Tony Allen and Melvin Sanders.
Damon Jackson led Fresno State (5-1) with 17 points, including five three-point baskets.
OSU opened the second half on an 18-6 run, turning a three-point halftime lead into a 15-point advantage at 49-34 with 11:23 to play.
Williams, who had three first-half fouls and played only six minutes in the opening frame, hit two free throws to cap the run.
The Bulldogs cut the lead to seven when Terry Pettis' three-pointer made it 53-46 with 6:28 to play.
But Williams responded with a three of his own on OSU's next possession to push the lead back to 10 points.
McFarlin and Allen followed with breakaway dunks, the latter off a nice bounce pass from Williams, to make it 60-46 with less than four minutes to go in regulation.
